Chinese indie studio CottonGame continues to build its reputation for unconventional storytelling with the release of Shattered Dimension, a mystery-driven puzzle adventure now available on iOS devices. First launched on PC in April, the title recently expanded to mobile platforms while Android pre-registration has also opened, signaling a broader rollout for the studio’s latest experimental project.
Unlike many modern mobile puzzle games that rely heavily on repetitive level structures or monetized energy systems, Shattered Dimension leans into atmosphere and narrative tension. Players step into the role of an investigator trapped inside a strange borderworld filled with restaurants, police stations, grocery stores, and hidden laboratories, all interconnected through fragmented clues and cryptic conversations. The game uses an overhead tabletop presentation combined with hand-drawn art direction, creating a visual identity that feels closer to an interactive graphic novel than a traditional mobile release.

The developer previously gained attention for titles such as Sunset Hills, and many players within the iOS gaming community have already compared the studio’s distinct style to niche narrative-focused developers known for blending emotional storytelling with surreal environments.
From a technical standpoint, the mobile version supports iPhone, iPad, Apple Silicon Macs, and even Apple Vision devices, while requiring iOS 16 or later. You can get the game on iOS in the Apple App Store. The Android version is coming soon in the Google Play Store.
