Japanese dev Kemco has launched Novels Rogue: The Otherworldly Bookshop and the Sealed Witch (ノベルズローグ ～異世界古書堂と封印の魔女～), a deck-building roguelike RPG, for iOS and Android. Priced at 860 yen (6$USD), the game also offers a free, ad-supported version for Android users.
In Novels Rogue, players embark on an adventure through the worlds of four books: The Princess Knight of the Fallen Country, The Angel of Love, The Mirror of Desire, and The Great Hinomoto Conquest Strategy. Each book offers a unique deck and battle system, providing varied gameplay experiences.
The game features pixel art, a roguelike dungeon system that resets with each entry, and an adjustable difficulty level for seasoned players. Additionally, players can boost relationships with characters and unlock hidden secrets by increasing favorability.
For those interested, a gameplay trailer has been released showcasing the atmospheric design and mechanics. The game is available on Japan (iOs App Store and Android Google Play), there is no support for english yet, but this is one of these game which definitely will come out in english.
