HYBE IM has officially announced the beta test for their upcoming RPG, OZ Re:write. The test is scheduled from March 5 to March 12, 2025. As far we know, this new game will have a fresh take on the classic “Wizard of Oz” narrative, with anime-style graphics and an interesting storyline.
In OZ Re:write, players will join Dorothy and seven other rewriters on a quest to save their world from malevolent forces. The game introduces an in-game social network called “Mirrorgram,” allowing players to interact with characters, exchange gifts, and unlock special storylines. About the gameplay, we don’t know so much but for the screen, it is a RPG side scroller battler (with auto battle) with strong emphasis in the social side.
To participate in the beta test (limited to Japan for now according the official website), players can pre-register through the App Store or Google Play Store until 10:59 AM on March 5. Additionally, HYBE IM has launched various campaigns to celebrate the pre-registration phase, including opportunities to win Amazon gift cards by engaging with official social media channels.
