Ragnarok M: Classic Global opens pre-registration ahead of September release

Gravity Interactive has officially opened global pre-registration for Ragnarok M: Classic Global, the mobile MMORPG revival of the beloved Ragnarok Online franchise. Following years of fan demand, this marks the first time the game will be available outside Southeast Asia (yeah), with a closed beta test (CBT) scheduled ahead of its September 3rd release on Android, iOS, and Windows PC.

Built on player-first principles, Ragnarok M: Classic Global eliminates gacha systems, paid packs, and microtransactions. Instead, the game features a Zeny-only economy, where all gear, cards, and items are earned through gameplay and freely tradable. Players receive a free monthly premium pass, offline battle rewards, and guaranteed gear enhancement up to +15—removing the frustration of RNG-based upgrades.

The game revives the original six job classes—Swordsman, Mage, Thief, Archer, Acolyte, and Merchant—with tier 3 upgrades and real-time job switching. It also introduces Revo-Classic mechanics, blending old-school charm with modern conveniences like offline vending, auto-loot, and streamlined party systems.

Before its global rollout, Ragnarok M: Classic amassed over 3 million players across Asia, praised for its fair design and nostalgic appeal. The global version aims to replicate this success with lower latency servers and full localization support for North America and Europe.

Players can pre-register via the official site, Google Play, or App Store. Early registrants will receive exclusive rewards, including headwear, buff potions, and adventure chests.
