Korean game studio BLACKSTORM has revealed details about their debut title, REMEMENTO – White Shadow, a turn-based RPG with anime-style graphics, set for release in Q4 2024 in Korea for PC and Android/iOS, followed by a global launch in 2025.

We have to notice that the game was initially announced under the name Nemonic: White Shadow. This new asian RPG will have a mix of classic JRPG elements, character collection, seamless world exploration, and strategic PvP. And of course it looks really nice from the art, I think we can expect another of that huge budget free games.

In a recent interview, BLACKSTORM’s CEO Kim Do-yoon, producer Heo Kwon, and art director Lee Jin-soo discussed the game’s development, which is powered by Unreal Engine 5 and offers high-quality visuals and over 100 cinematic cutscenes. The game will also include voice acting from prominent actors and provide an immersive, story-driven experience with multiple endings.

So, it will be huge. The game features four-person party combat with strategic elements, a seamless open-world environment, and auto-battle options. The important part, is that the BLACKSTORM is preparing for a closed beta test in November 2024, with plans for regular updates and expansions to keep players engaged. When the Beta is out we will try to check if its worth or not.
