Yostar Games, the developer behind popular titles like Arknights and Azur Lane, has announced that their upcoming action-adventure RPG, Stella Sora, has surpassed 3 million pre-registrations. To celebrate this milestone, the team released a new concept promotional video (PV) highlighting the “Tranquil Retreat” Runic Disc, offering fans a glimpse into the game’s artistic direction and thematic elements.
Set in the expansive fantasy world of Nova, Stella Sora take players into the role of the “Tyrant,” an amnesiac protagonist leading a group known as the “New Star Guild.” Together, they explore ancient structures called Monoliths, uncovering artifacts that influence Nova’s society. The game features a top-down perspective with a blend of manual and auto-combat mechanics, allowing for both strategic planning and dynamic action.
The “Tranquil Retreat” Runic Disc, showcased in the latest PV, exemplifies the game’s unique celluloid art style, where modern and vintage aesthetics coexist. This disc is one of several that players can collect, each offering distinct abilities and narrative significance. Pre-registration for Stella Sora is currently open on Android, iOS, and PC platforms.
The game has got significant attention since the beta test, however there are some concerns regarding its gacha system, about the pull and pity system which is different from systems in other popular gacha games. But, we can’t say much until the official release. Players interested in joining the adventure can pre-register through the official website.
