Tamamon World (タマモンワールド) is a MMO, developed by Apollo Technology, where you can form bonds with some little creatures called Tamamon. Well, the game is officially available today, in Japan.
In Tamamon World, players can choose from six classes: Samurai, Reaper, Paladin, Assassin, Wizard, and Archer, each brought to life by talented voice actors like Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, Kana Ueda, Chiaki Kobayashi, and Saori Onishi. A diverse array of Tamamons, such as the fire-breathing Ifritchi and the lightning-controlling Ferreki, also make appearances. Each class has its exclusive Kizuna Tamamon, which can be obtained by completing specific missions in the game.
Tamamons are not only adorable but also feature a unique training system that allows them to fight alongside players. Despite their cute looks, they possess strong attacks. Using accumulated energy, players can activate their Tamamon’s special skill, “Engage,” to inflict powerful damage.
The game’s biggest draw is the wide variety of Tamamons that can become your partners. On the battlefield, Tamamons are reliable allies that fight alongside players. You can hatch these cute creatures from eggs using gacha. They come in four elements: fire, water, earth, and lightning, each with various skills like forward attacks, area attacks, and recovery abilities.
With over 600,000 players registered for the pre-registration campaign, Tamamon World is offering gifts to their players. Currently, the game has only launched in Japan, so if you want to try it, you might need to use a VPN. There’s no word yet on a global release.
