NetEase Games and Shueisha have officially opened global pre-registration for their mobile RPG, unVEIL the World, a strategy-driven adventure set in a mysterious desert realm dominated by a towering monolith. The game’s final closed beta test (CBT) is scheduled for September 2025, with over 10 million players already signed up to receive exclusive SSR characters and in-game rewards.
The game is a mix of turn-based combat with anime-inspired storytelling, featuring a world where players explore the colossal “Tower of Connection” — a gateway to countless alternate dimensions. According to Japanese sources like 4Gamer, the collaboration between Shueisha’s creative teams and NetEase’s technical prowess has resulted in a visually stunning experience, with dynamic character animations and strategic depth.
Players will assume the role of Laiz, a young adventurer navigating political intrigue, magical factions, and ancient ruins. With a card-based skill system and elemental synergy mechanics, unVEIL the world promises layered combat and deep party customization.
The game will be free-to-play on iOS (App Store link) and Android (Google Play Store), with monetization through optional gacha and gear systems. Fans can follow updates via the game’s official X (formerly Twitter) and Discord channels. The game is limited to Japan for now.
