Square Enix has open the pre-registration of Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy. The game will release on iOS and Android at the end of March 2026 (App Store date), following a successful closed beta in late 2025. Developed in collaboration with NHN PlayArt, the game introduces a new twist to the long-running Dissidia franchise: 3v3 team battles where players race to defeat waves of monsters and ultimately take down a powerful boss before their rival team does.
The setting is particularly striking—heroes such as Cloud, Lightning, Sephiroth, and Warrior of Light are transported into modern-day Tokyo, creating a “reverse isekai” scenario that blends fantasy combat with urban environments. This design choice not only refreshes the franchise but also allows for unique character interactions outside their usual worlds, adding a narrative layer reminiscent of crossover fanfiction but officially sanctioned by Square Enix.

Pre-registration is already live on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, with milestone rewards expected for early sign-ups. Regional restrictions appear minimal, as Square Enix has confirmed a global rollout rather than a staggered release.
