Foundation: Galactic Frontier is a multi-genre sci-fi RPG developed by FunPlus in collaboration with Skydance and Apple, inspired by Isaac Asimov’s Foundation series and the Apple TV+ adaptation. Set in a crumbling Galactic Empire, players assume the role of a space trader navigating political intrigue, cosmic threats, and interstellar mysteries. The game blends base-building, resource management, and real-time combat, offering both PvE and PvP modes across a vast galaxy.
The game features three energy types—Beam, Kinetic, and Ionic—that influence ship performance and combat strategy. Matching Champions to ship energy types grants attribute boosts, adding depth to fleet composition. With over 13 Champions to recruit, including Klara, Riian Dessos, and Ajita, players can tailor their crew to suit different challenges.
The game is currently in soft launch on Android and announced for iOS.
