The online mahjong game Amatsuki Mahjong (天月麻雀), developed by Hong Kong-based studio CyberAlice, has officially opened its closed beta test as of November 25, 2024(here download the APK). Available on Steam, iOS, and Android, the closed beta introduces fresh content, including new gameplay modes, systems, and characters, while offering participants exclusive rewards like limited costumes and titles.
The game integrates multiple regional styles of mahjong—Japanese, Taiwanese, Sichuan, and Hong Kong—in a charming two-dimensional art style. Players can explore ranked matches, casual games, and friend matches across various modes. The new content also includes character-specific Hu card animations and Japanese voiceovers from renowned voice actors such as Kito Akari and Uchida Mairei, adding a rich auditory experience to the immersive gameplay.
Additionally, the closed beta debuts a bonding system where players can deepen relationships with in-game characters and a rank-based reward system with celebratory events.
