King, the studio behind the legendary Candy Crush franchise, is adding a new game to its repertoire with Candy Crush Solitaire. Scheduled for release on February 6, 2025, the game is now open for pre-registration.
Candy Crush Solitaire takes the classic solitaire and add a lot from the Candy Crush universe. A revamped TriPeaks card-clearing gameplay, complete with power-ups like jellyfish, lollipop hammers, color bombs, and UFOs. The game has features such as the “Hold Slot” system, allowing players to strategize by saving cards for later use.
There is some flexibility with both online and offline modes, ensuring players can dive into its sugary challenges anytime, anywhere. Beyond standard levels, bonus stages and challenges will keep gameplay fresh and engaging.
This marks King’s first release under Microsoft’s ownership, setting high expectations for its debut in the card game genre. Pre-registered players will unlock a range of perks upon the game’s launch. Players can pre-register via the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
