Gameloft has announced a brand-new Carmen Sandiego game, set to launch digitally with $29.99 standard and $49.99 Deluxe editions for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. Of course there is also a mobile edition, and it will come with Netflix Games for free.
For the first time in franchise history, players can embody Carmen herself, navigating a globe-trotting narrative full of espionage, gadgets, and high-stakes challenges. We will be cracking safes, solving mini-games, or uncovering clues. The game seems to be a mix of nostalgia and modern gameplay.
The game looks really good, environments like Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo come to life, offering a vibrant stage for Carmen’s adventures. With tools like her glider, grappling hook, and night vision goggles, players will experience the franchise’s trademark mix of exploration and problem-solving.
