Developed by Butterscotch Shenanigans, the anticipated sequel Crashlands 2 will launch globally in Q1 2025. The game will be available via Netflix Games for Android and iOS (another hit by Netflix), as well as on PC through Steam. Building on the success of the original Crashlands, this sequel sees players return to the planet Woanope as Flux Dabes, an intergalactic trucker caught in a mysterious blast that leads them deep into alien territory.
The game preview, provided by the devs: Crashlands 2, players will craft weapons, build communities, and gather resources to survive in a true open-world RPG experience. The game emphasizes the importance of forming friendships and building a community to complete in-game quests and side missions. While the exact release date has not been revealed, Crashlands 2 is expected to further enhance the open-world adventure experience that made its predecessor a hit.
It is excellent news to have games like this for cell phones. Considering that it was announced in 2023, it had some delays and finally it seems that it will see the light this 2025. Now, it will be behind Netflix, being an excellent option to the good catalog that Netflix Games has now. Until the release day arrives, we can see some previews on the Steam website.
