Pre-order is now available for Delta Force, Tencent’s revival of the iconic tactical shooter franchise. Scheduled to launch in late January 2025, the mobile version of Delta Force brings back the brand’s roots in military realism while introducing new modes and a fresh take on modern combat.
The game promises an expansive experience with a blend of modes like Warfare, a large-scale Battlefield-inspired combat scenario, and Operations, an extraction shooter. A single-player campaign based on the famous Battle of Mogadishu, heavily inspired by Black Hawk Down, is also set to debut. With its mix of old-school tactical realism and modern shooter innovations, Tencent’s Level Infinite aims to reintroduce Delta Force to a new generation of players.
However the PC release may have raised some alarms, reports of aggressive anti-cheating measures, including strict hardware restrictions, have raised concerns among gamers.
