Dragon Blaze, a really the long-running 2D mobile RPG developed by FLINT and published by GAMEVIL (now Com2uS Holdings), will officially end service on August 25, 2025. The announcement is really sad, it marks the conclusion of a remarkable 10-year run, with the game originally launching on May 12, 2015.
The game is currently not available on the app stores, and in-app purchases have been disabled. Players can continue to enjoy the game until the final shutdown date, after which all services will cease. Praised for its Vanillaware-style 2D visuals, semi-automatic combat, and epic fantasy narrative, Dragon Blaze stood out in the mobile RPG space with its five core classes—Warrior, Mage, Archer, Priest, and Rogue—and a roster of over 100 collectible heroes.
When I read this on Enduins, I think 10 years is quite a long time, especially when we have EOS announcements every so often, with games that don’t make it to a year, even lasting a few months. Fortunately, the studio has other interesting projects like Astra Knights of Veda, which would be the continuation of Dragon Blaze.
