HoYoverse has officially opened pre-registration for Honkai: Nexus Anima, a new creature-collecting strategy RPG set within the Honkai universe. The game introduces a world where players collect mystical beings known as Anima, evolve them, and deploy them in autochess-style battles across mobile and PC platforms.
Originally revealed in May 2025, Nexus Anima blends exploration, character customization, and tactical combat. Players can traverse floating islands, ride horse-like companions, and interact with Anima through playful activities like seesawing and gliding. Early footage showcases creatures such as Puddlipup and Taileep, each with unique abilities suited for strategic PvE encounters.
Players can personalize their avatars with detailed facial features, outfits, and accessories, while unlocking lore-rich characters like Cassio Rollex, Victus, and Kumyo Kyo. Although no official release date has been announced, the closed beta held in August received positive feedback for its pacing and UI clarity.
