The upcoming MMORPG, Legend of Ymir, has officially opened pre-registration, this is the last game from Korean studio Wemade. Set in the period leading up to Ragnarok from the Norse mythology, the catastrophic event that reshapes the world every 9,000 years, the game includes innovative gameplay, and blockchain technology. Players will find legendary weapons and accessories minted as Non-Fungible Items (NFIs), alongside a governance system that integrates blockchain mechanics into the game’s core experience.
Pre-registration is available through the official website, Google Play for Android, and Apple App Store for iOS, with rewards awaiting early participants. Those who sign up will receive exclusive in-game items, such as Mana Regeneration Potions and Swift Honey Wine, designed to enhance their combat and exploration experiences from day one.
With a planned release in Q1 2025 in Korea, Legend of Ymir looks like a strong option in the MMORPG landscape. However, this is the korean edition, we may have to wait some months after the initial release for the Global Edition, depending on how the Korean version is doing.
