Merc Storia – End of Service after 11 Years with final chapter in January

The fantasy RPG Merc Storia (メルクストーリア), developed by Cacalia Studio under Japan’s Happy Elements, will release the second and final part of its main story on January 31, 2025, with the game officially concluding service on February 27. Launched in 2014, Merc Storia—known for its heartwarming narrative and memorable characters—has enjoyed an impressive 11-year run, complete with an anime adaptation and a dedicated fanbase.

Despite its SEA version ending prematurely, the Japanese version thrived for over a decade, offering in-game events, collaborations, concerts, and real-life puzzle games. The management team expressed deep gratitude for the players, known as “healers,” who supported the game through its highs and lows. In a heartfelt message, they emphasized their commitment to delivering a meaningful conclusion that reflects the love and dedication poured into the project. You can read the full announcement in the official website.

To commemorate this journey, a memorial app will be available for fans, preserving the memories of the characters and stories that made Merc Storia special. You can still check the game in the Google Play Store JP or the iOS App Store Japan.
