Need for Speed Mobile has officially opened pre-registrations for both Android and iOS platforms in select regions, for now is just limited to Hong Kong and Taiwan. Garena (TW) is handling the publishing for these regions. According to the iOS store listing, Need for Speed Mobile is expected to launch on September 12, 2024, aligning with the fall release window announced earlier.
Developed by TiMi Studios in collaboration with EA, Need for Speed Mobile first made waves with its announcement for release in China, followed by a private closed beta in the region.
The game features a lineup of 150 supercars from manufacturers like Lamborghini, Porsche, and Ferrari, all of which can be customized to the player’s preferences. Real-time weather changes and dynamic day-night cycles add to the immersive experience, with over 30 tracks available for players to explore and race on. It brings its iconic gameplay to mobile with Need for Speed Mobile.
Players can drive freely and race in both single-player and multiplayer modes. The game includes classic hot pursuits with up to 40 players in races, allowing players to either gain popularity as a racer or join the pursuit team to chase down offenders. Additionally, an original storyline is also rumored to be included.
