Hotta Studio announced the first global Closed Beta Test (CBT) of Neverness to Everness, their upcoming open-world RPG set in the sprawling metropolis of Hethereau. Developed under Perfect World Games, the game was presented as a mix of urban exploration, mystery-solving, and fast-paced combat, a GTA-style city with supernatural twists. We got a Beta test before but it was limited to SEA.
In Neverness to Everness, players take on the role of an Appraiser, navigating the city’s anomaly-infested streets, uncovering secrets, and engaging in Esper-powered battles. The game’s semi-open world allows for freeform exploration, with players able to drive vehicles, manage businesses, and interact with a dynamic urban environment. Built using Unreal Engine 5, Neverness to Everness boasts high-quality visuals, realistic lighting effects, and fluid character animations.
The Containment Test, as Hotta Studio calls this beta phase, is exclusive to PC and will support English, Japanese, and Chinese. While a mobile version has been confirmed, there is no official beta test for mobile yet. Players interested in joining the CBT can sign up via the official website, with recruitment open for a limited time. Stay tuned for further updates as Hotta Studio prepares for the global launch.
