Riviera: The Promised Land Remaster is finally available in Japan

Riviera: The Promised Land, the classic RPG, has been remastered and is now available on iOS and Android with Japanese language support. Originally announced last July, this updated version follows its recent debut on the Nintendo Switch, expanding its reach to mobile platforms and Steam.

While the remaster is currently available worldwide, it only includes Japanese language support as per the store listings. Fans can watch the Nintendo Switch trailer to preview the improvements and nostalgic elements that this version offers.

First released on the WonderSwan Color in 2002, Riviera: The Promised Land gained popularity through subsequent releases on the Game Boy Advance in 2004 and the PSP in North America in 2005. The remaster breathes new life into this timeless game, featuring enhanced graphics and gameplay that stay true to its original charm.

Riviera: The Promised Land Remaster is available for purchase on the App Store for iOS and Google Play for Android. Although the game is expected to receive localization on Steam and Switch, there’s a strong hope that Sting Studio will extend this to the mobile version as well. For now players can enjoy the Japanese version. However, if you prefer to play in English, it might be wise to wait for an official localization announcement.
