A new Saint Seiya game! Efun Company has opened global pre-registration for Saint Seiya EX, a strategy card RPG based on Masami Kurumada’s legendary Saint Seiya franchise. Licensed by Toei Animation, the game is set to launch soon on Android and iOS, with full support for English, Portuguese, and other languages to cater to its international fanbase.
Saint Seiya EX reimagines the battles of the Athena Saints through turn-based card combat, so we will keep our time building decks featuring iconic characters like Pegasus Seiya, Dragon Shiryu, and Athena herself. The game emphasizes tactical synergy, elemental counters, and formation strategy, offering both PvE story campaigns and competitive PvP modes.
Players who pre-register via the official site will unlock milestone rewards, including SSR Gold Saints, Saori Kido, and up to 200 summon vouchers. Additional physical prizes such as figurines and merchandise will be raffled among early registrants who create characters at launch. All digital rewards will be distributed via in-game mail once the game goes live.
The game has already gained traction in Southeast Asia and Latin America, with Portuguese-language support confirming its commitment to Brazilian fans (the biggest fans maybe). Community reactions on Korean and Japanese forums are positive but just remember this is more a deck building game, with idle mechanics. It is not like Saint Seiya KOTZ (the best Saint Seiya game ever), but if you enjoy the franchise, it may be a solid option.
Pre-registration is open in the iOS App Store for iPhone users and the Google Play Store for Android user, you can run the game using an emulator too. The game is set to be launched on November 13 in both platforms.
