Yes, soccer, not football. Miniclip has launched its latest sports-based game, Soccer Hero, now available on iOS and Android for free. This seems to be like a casual football simulator with no real teams and players. A mix of strategy and simplicity is expected to attract a broad audience. But of course it doesn’t have the deep of other games, I mean, it’s soccer, not football.
The game blends arcade-style gameplay with strategic card collecting, Soccer Hero allows players to build their own teams, plan tactics, and compete in PvP matches. The game features dynamic stadiums and card synergies, offering some depth for players.
The game has a vertical view and a pixel art style that reminds me of the SNES games of yesteryear, when they didn’t have the licenses, names and so on. It’s not bad, it’s a casual game, but it’s not for hardcore gamers, if I would recommend it for the younger ones, as a management game.
You can download it on the Google Play Store or the iOS App Store for free.
