StarSavior shows a new promotional video, a new contender in the Gacha RPG scene

Star Savior has released a new trailer, after some time. I had already written about this game in the past, after a name change, we finally have a closer approximation of what the game is really about. The game comes from the Studiobside studio, creators behind CounterSide.

Comparisons have been drawn between Star Savior and other popular gacha titles like Epic Seven and CounterSide. But we don’t have extended gameplay, or even official gameplay. It was announced as a 3D turn-based combat and emphasis on real-time arena (RTA) gameplay, but let see how it finally is.

The teaser doesn’t shy away from fan-service, a bold choice that is sure to appeal to a specific segment of the audience. The character models and flashy animations feel like something out of a high-budget Japanese gacha game, yet Star Savior is breaking that mold with its global ambitions.

While the teaser has piqued interest, many details about Star Savior remain under wraps, including its narrative depth, monetization model, and release date. Given the developers’ track record, I guess one can be cautiously optimistic, but as with any gacha title, the key lies in balancing engaging gameplay with respect for players’ time and investment. Stay tuned for updates and more gameplay previews in their official X/Twitter.
