Aquaplus has officially announced (via PRTimes) the remake of its classic romance adventure game To Heart, set to launch for the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam in Japan in spring 2025. The game was originally released in 1997, To Heart became a hit in the romance visual novel genre and even inspired a TV anime adaptation, winning over fans with its heartfelt story set against a school backdrop. In this remake, Aquaplus breathes new life into the title, revamping it with full 3D character designs and maintaining the familiar, beloved narrative that defined the original.
Key highlights of the remake include new character designs by Tatami Honjou, a fresh opening theme song titled “Feeling Heart” sung by YURiKA, and voice acting by Kana Ichinose and Hina Youmiya. Aquaplus recently showcased exclusive footage from the remake, including glimpses of its updated visuals, during an official announcement event, igniting anticipation among fans.
To Heart will be available for 2,800 yen digitally (or 3,980 yen for a physical copy on Switch) and has not yet confirmed an English release. The announced was made in the Great Aquaplus Festival.
