We got a new dungeon crawling game: Tormentis Dungeon RPG, a unique new game from 4 Hands Games, now available on Android. First released on Steam in early access in July 2024, the game flips the typical dungeon crawler formula on its head. Instead of simply exploring dungeons, players become the evil overlord, designing intricate labyrinths filled with traps and monsters to protect their treasure from would-be intruders.
The gameplay challenges players to craft devious dungeons, which they must first successfully navigate themselves before unleashing them on opponents. Alongside dungeon building, players can raid other players’ lairs in PvP mode or test their designs in offline mode. Gear earned through plundering can be traded at the auction house, adding a layer of strategy to equipment management.
Tormentis Dungeon RPG is free to play, but it comes with a single in-app purchase available to remove ads for $20.
