Riot Games, in collaboration with Tencent’s LightSpeed Studios, has officially opened pre-registration for Valorant Mobile in China as of April 21, 2025. This marks a significant step in bringing the popular 5v5 tactical shooter to mobile platforms, with China being the first region to access the game. Not a surprise really.
The mobile adaptation, listed as Valorant: Energy Operation on the Huawei App Store, aims to retain the core gameplay elements that have made the PC version a success. Players can expect features such as a replay system, streamlined abilities, and MVP screens, all optimized for mobile devices.
Early registrants in China are eligible for exclusive in-game rewards, including unique player cards. While a specific global release date has not been announced, Riot Games has indicated plans to expand to other regions following the initial launch in China. Along with the announcement was released the trailer of the game for China where we can see quite a lot of gameplay, of what looks like an intense and well optimized game. Let’s hope the global release is not too far away.
