New anime game is coming. YuYu Hakusho Slugfest, a fully licensed 3D action RPG based on the iconic anime by Yoshihiro Togashi, is set to launch on iOS and Android on July 16, 2025. Developed by Zenifun Technology Limited, the game brings the world of Yu Yu Hakusho to life with cel-shaded visuals, original voice actors, and a mix of PvE, PvP, and GvG battle modes. The game was released on SEA before under the name YuYu Hakusho Fierce Fight.
Players will step into the shoes of Yusuke Urameshi, the Spirit Detective, and team up with fan-favorite characters like Kuwabara, Hiei, Kurama, and Genkai. The game faithfully recreates major story arcs—including the Dark Tournament and Demon World Tournament—while offering new content and challenges for mobile players.
Slugfest features real-time combat, story-driven missions, and a team-building system that lets players mix and match characters and skills. The game also includes auto-battle options, quick level-ups, and casual game modes, making it accessible to both hardcore fans and newcomers.
Pre-registration is now open on the App Store and Google Play with a generous campaign offering 3,200 free draws and a guaranteed SSR character every 40 pulls. The game’s nostalgic appeal is further enhanced by the return of the original anime voice cast, adding authenticity to its dramatic cutscenes and battles.
