Star Savior begins Closed Beta in South Korea, Global Beta expected to follow

Star Savior, the anticipated anime-style RPG from Studio Bside -creators of Counter:Side- has officially entered its Closed Beta Test (CBT) phase in South Korea. The CBT will run from July 23 to July 29, 2025, with sign-ups open until July 22 at 10:00 AM KST via the game’s official website.

The beta offers selected players early access to the game’s core storyline and “Journey” arcs, showcasing the emotional depth and character-driven narrative that defines Star Savior. Built with anime-style 3D graphics, the game also features interactive training systems and a turn-based combat engine, all currently in their final stages of polish.

Set in the universe of the Nebula Observation Agency (NOA), players assume the role of a “Savior” tasked with inheriting celestial power to restore a world on the brink of collapse. The game blends strategic battles, character bonding, and immersive storytelling, promising a rich RPG experience for fans of the genre.

While this CBT is exclusive to South Korea, Studio Bside has confirmed that an English version is in development, with a global beta expected to follow after the Korean test concludes. The studio encourages international fans to stay tuned via the game’s official X account and YouTube channel.
