Hypergryph, the developers behind the popular strategy RPG Arknights, have announced that the game will finally make its debut on PC, but limited to China. Originally released in 2019, Arknights has a dedicated fanbase with its mix of tower defense mechanics, deep lore, and iconic character design.
Until now, we can only experience the dystopian world of Terra through mobile devices, but the new PC version should have a smoother experience with higher frame rates, optimized UI adjustments for larger screens, and full cross-save support between PC and mobile.
The PC version should maintain all the features, including event updates, gacha mechanics and story chapters. Visually, players can expect higher resolution assets and the potential for expanded graphical settings to take advantage of more powerful hardware. While this PC version has been officially confirmed only for the Chinese market at this time, a global release could follow soon. Considering the success of similar moves by other mobile titles like Azur Lane and Punishing: Gray Raven.
