Astral Taker: Kemco’s new JRPG launches on December 12

Kemco Japan, renowned for its lineup of classic-style RPGs, has announced its latest addition, Astral Taker (アストラルテイカ), set for release in a couple of days in Japan, on December 12, 2024. The game is currently available for pre-registration on Google Play, this turn-based JRPG will be priced at 860 yen, promising a mix of strategic combat and compelling storytelling for mobile RPG enthusiasts.

In Astral Taker, players follow Levi, a young summoner in training, as he meets Aurora, a mysterious girl without memories. Together, they navigate dungeons, fend off powerful enemies, and uncover the secrets of Levi’s newfound summoning powers. The game introduces a tactical combat system where players can predict enemy moves during battles, offering an extra layer of strategy. Parties can include up to eight members, with the ability to switch between them mid-battle, making adaptability key to success.

Classic JRPG elements with innovative mechanics, fans of the genre can expect a challenging yet rewarding experience when the game launches. Pre-register now on Google Play for Android to prepare for the adventure. Right now the game is limited to Japan, but a global release may come soon as other Kemco games.
