Dragon Quest X Offline is now available to download Android and iOS in Japan

Square Enix has officially released Dragon Quest X Offline for mobile devices. The game is available on both Android and iOS, sadly, limited to Japan. This is a single-player adaptation of the MMORPG which comes with a limited-time discount price of ¥1,960 (approximately $12.50) until January 28, 2025.

Dragon Quest X Offline reimagines the classic edition but comes with enhanced graphics, balanced mechanics, and exclusive original episodes unavailable in the online version. Players can explore the expansive world of Astoltia, comprising five unique continents and numerous islands, alongside their trusted companions in a quest to defeat demonic forces. The offline version introduces the expansion The Sleeping Hero and the Guiding Ally, which adds an entirely new region, Rendashia, accessible via a luxury cruise ship. This expansion also brings fresh characters like Maille, Ragus, Fuura, and Fuser, offering players even more reasons to set sail on this grand adventure.

Currently, Square Enix has no announced plans for a global release of Dragon Quest X Offline. However, given the franchise’s immense popularity, we may get news soon. For now, the game is exclusively available in Japan via Google Play and the App Store.
