KEMCO Opens Pre-Registration for Isekai Rondo Otogi
KEMCO and EXE Create open pre-registration for RPG Isekai Rondo Otogi, a Japanese folklore-flavoured sequel that sends Shaw into the land of Nakatsunokuni.
KEMCO has opened pre-registration for RPG Isekai Rondo Otogi, a new role-playing game developed by EXE Create for iOS and Android. The publisher announced the campaign at the end of September, and players can already pre-register on Google Play or pre-order on the App Store. No release date has been announced yet.
The game is a direct sequel to Isekai Rondo and returns to its protagonist, Shaw, who is pulled from the city of Facultas into Nakatsunokuni, a fantasy version of ancient Japan. He is separated from his companions, loses most of his stats and passive abilities, and ends up exiled to a remote island after being blamed for a crime he did not commit. Meeting Yomi, a shrine maiden, sets him on a new path that eventually puts both worlds in danger and pushes Shaw to grow into the Great Onmyoji.
The setting leans on Japanese folklore rather than generic fantasy. Figures and stories such as Momotaro and The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter are woven into the journey, alongside a cast of familiar characters reworked for the game’s world.
KEMCO has not detailed the battle system for Otogi yet, so it is unclear how much the sequel departs from the structure of the previous entry. Both store listings are live in English and the studio’s global account is promoting the pre-registration, although KEMCO has not confirmed whether the launch will be simultaneous worldwide or staggered by region. With the pre-registration pages already open and no date attached, an announcement is expected in the coming weeks.
