Kakao Games unveils an amazing collaboration between Guardian Tales and the acclaimed anime series Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. This crossover is one of my favorites ever. An anime full of melancholic fantasy and action-packed dungeon crawling game.
For the ones doesn’t know, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End explores what happens after the hero’s tale concludes. Set decades after the passing of the chosen hero Himmel, the story follows his immortal elf companion Frieren (the old lady), who embarks on a reflective journey accompanied by new allies Stark and Fern. This collaboration seamlessly introduces Frieren’s somber yet magical world into Guardian Tales, giving players the chance to interact with these beloved characters in an entirely new way.
As part of the event, Frieren, Stark, and Fern join Guardian Tales as playable heroes. Frieren is available now through February 4th, while Stark can be earned through event rewards, and Fern will debut between January 21st and February 4th. Each character arrives with distinctive abilities and exclusive weapons, adding depth and strategy to the game. Players can also rank up Stark to five stars and limit break him, enhancing his strength for future challenges.
