Project C announced at G-Star 2024 – Promotional video released

Project C, an anime-inspired simulation game set in a magical school, was recently announced by Lionheart Studio at G-Star 2024, with a target release of 2025. Built on Unreal Engine 5, Project C centers around the player as a mentor guiding a diverse group of students, described as “beautiful girls from around the world,” in a fantasy academy environment.

The game’s premise is already drawing comparisons to popular anime franchises like Little Witch Academia and Uma Musume. However, Project C’s development is stirring some skepticism. Lionheart Studio, under Kakao Games, is known primarily for its MMORPG Odin: Valhalla Rising, a game with a reputation for intense monetization—a factor that may impact expectations around Project C’s design.

Korean studios really are after the global success of anime-styled gacha games like Genshin Impact and Blue Archive, lets see how this new project will do. Of course, it will change the name in time (I hate codenames) and it is far away from any news about a global release, here is the official website in korean. But ey, it is nice to see some videos right now.
