Aniplex, Pokelabo and f4samurai, have officially announced that Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Magia Exedra will launch on March 27, 2025, for iOS and Android platforms. A PC version, available via Steam, is slated for release at a later date.
This upcoming anime free-to-play role-playing game is based on the acclaimed 2011 anime series Puella Magi Madoka Magica, which has a global fanbase for its dark and intricate storytelling. In the game players will encounter characters from the original series, as well as those introduced in various spin-offs, including “Magia Record”.
The gameplay features 3D graphics and allows players to form teams of up to five magical girls to explore labyrinthine realms and engage in battles against witches and their minions. Completing specific missions or achieving certain milestones will reward players with ‘portraits,’ items that depict memorable scenes from the series and can be equipped to enhance character abilities.
Notably, ‘Magia Exedra’ offers a data transfer feature for players of the previous mobile game, ‘Magia Record,’ which concluded its service in July 2024. Fans can pre-register for ‘Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Magia Exedra’ on the App Store and Google Play.
