Maid of Sker takes place in a hotel steeped in British folklore, where players must navigate sound-based AI enemies using a single sound device as their primary survival tool. The game is known for its blend of realistic visuals, psychological horror, and gothic themes, creating a uniquely atmospheric experience.
One of the game’s notable aspects is its connection to Welsh culture, as it re-imagines the traditional folk song “Y Ferch o’r Sger.” The mobile version of Maid of Sker will be free to start, with a single in-app purchase available to unlock the full game, priced around $5.99 depending on your region—significantly lower than the $24.99 price tag on PC and consoles.
