Finally. Good news for Metal Slug fans around the world: Metal Slug: Awakening, previously available only in the SEA region, has now been launched globally. The game can now be accessed on Google Play and Apple Stores for mobile devices, as well as on Steam for PC (not available yet).

Originally announced in 2021, the game underwent a closed beta test to fine-tune its physics and graphics before the global release. The beta received positive feedback, encouraging the developers to proceed with the worldwide launch for both PC and mobile platforms.
In addition to retaining the classic gameplay style, Metal Slug: Awakening introduces a variety of power-ups and skills from previous titles, all enhanced with a visual overhaul. New features include roguelike adventures, three-man team-based challenges, and a world adventure mode, providing players with fresh challenges to explore.
