After a long time, FDG Entertainment and Cornfox & Bros have release Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon, the latest entry in the Oceanhorn universe, for Android and PC via Stream. The game was previously launched on iOS via Apple Arcade in 2021. The Oceanhorn game saga is well loved in the gaming community, the first one was one of those games that showed the capability and future that games could have when it was released in 2013.
Departing from the seafaring adventures of its predecessors, this game dives deep into classic dungeon crawling with a retro 16-bit aesthetic, couch co-op support, and randomized gameplay inspired by zodiac-based character stats. Players will explore the ruins of the once-great Arcadian kingdom, now scattered and in decline. Taking control of four heroes—Knight, Huntress, Grandmaster, and Mage—we must venture into the mysterious Chronos Dungeon in search of the Paradigm Hourglass, an artifact capable of altering history.
Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon is set to release on Android and Steam (links are up) in Q2 2025. Fans of action RPGs, retro aesthetics, and cooperative gameplay should keep their eyes on this exciting new chapter in the Oceanhorn saga.
