Rasalas the korean MMORPG will have a global release later this year

Korean game developer ITOXI and global publisher Glohow have signed a co-publishing agreement to launch Rasalas, a popular MMORPG released in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau (SEA limited).

As the PR announce says: “Rasalas promises to bring back the classic MMORPG experience with large-scale battles, teamwork, and competitive gameplay. It is expected to launch on Google Play and the Apple App Store later this year. ITOXI, known for its pioneering work in the gaming industry with titles like Priston Tale, is collaborating with Glohow, which will handle strategic planning, marketing, and localization.”

This is one of those Korean games that are usually released on a limited basis in the SEA region, it doesn’t look bad, it might seem a bit generic in this already saturated market, but we will have to give it a chance, if it has a global release, it is because the companies involved find value in the game.

Pre-registration for Rasalas will be announced soon (here is the current SEA Google Play Store link), with more updates to come.
