The upcoming love simulation otome game Mugenrou to Nemurenu Cho – 夢幻楼と眠れぬ蝶 (or “The Dream Tower and the Sleepless Butterfly”) is set for release on November 19, 2024, on iOS and Android. Developed by DMM GAMES and Cybird, this fantasy romance title allows players to explore the red-light district of “Mugenrou,” a world of dreams where humans meet alluring demon characters.
Mugenrou will feature both a standard and an adult version, the latter adding mature elements for players who want a more intimate experience. The title is part of Cybird and DMM’s new Romanteen18 brand, envisioned as a long-term venture to create immersive, nuanced romance games.
Over four years in development, Mugenrou seeks to blend the appeal of popular “teen love” genres with fantasy elements. Through daily story tickets, players can progress with their chosen love interest, facing interactive choices and mini-game-style “dream dates” that affect intimacy and storyline outcomes. For players looking to dive deeper, the “Interaction Level” system unlocks unique, full-voice stories and special gifts as relationships progress, adding layers to each character. The adult version of Mugenrou further explores these connections, offering alternate perspectives without compromising the game’s balanced romantic tone.
