Two Strikes, the stylish 2D samurai fighting game from developer Retro Reactor, is now available to Crunchyroll Games subscribers on mobile devices. The game, known for its minimalist “one-hit-kill” combat and stunning black-and-white ink-brush art, has been added to the Crunchyroll Game Vault.
The game’s aesthetic and gameplay are deeply inspired by Japanese culture, with a story set during a fictionalized version of the Sengoku Period in 1568. Players control one of eight unique warriors—including samurai, monks, and outlaws—as they compete in a tournament held by the Shinigami, the God of Death, for a chance to return to the living world.

In a move that leverages Crunchyroll’s anime-centric audience, the mobile version of Two Strikes features a special playable character: Baki Hanma himself. From August 13 until August 28, the protagonist of the Baki Hanma series will be exclusively available to Crunchyroll Game Vault players, complete with his own stage and music track. You can download the game in the Google Play Store, just remember, you will need a Crunchyroll subscription.
