Medabots Survivors, the first survival action game in the beloved Medabots series, is finally available for iOS and Android devices in Japan (from Imagineer Studio). As a long-time fan of the franchise, this new game is a refreshing twist to the classic gameplay we’ve come to love, but it may not be enough.
In Medabots Survivors, players recruit from a roster of over 30 unique Medabots, each equipped with distinct skills, to withstand waves of adversaries. Decisions on which Medabots to deploy are crucial, it is the strategy part of the game that keeps the gameplay compelling.
The game introduces new Medabots designed by renowned illustrators, including the protagonist Medabot crafted by Medabots S main illustrator, tyuga. Notable additions like the Chang’e-inspired “Kouga Senjo” by Mine Yoshizaki and the dark knight-themed “Shadow Armor” by K-SUWABE enrich the game’s visual appeal. The developers have also hinted at future updates featuring additional Medabots, promising ongoing content to keep players engaged.
The game as a free-to-play game with in-app purchases, Medabots Survivors is available exclusively in Japan, with no official announcements regarding a global release. However, the international fanbase remains hopeful for future global availability. You can download it from the App Store and Google Play in Japan.
