Tencent Games‘ subsidiary Fizzglee Studio has unveiled its latest project, Chasing Kaleidorider, a 3D romance RPG (yes!) set in a futuristic cityscape. Pre-registration for the game is now open on the website and as far we know, it will be available on both Android and iOS platforms, though an official release date has yet to be announced.
Set in the city of Terminus, the game take players to a world where reality intertwines with the “Sea of Unconsciousness,” leading to phenomena known as Integration. These events give rise to Hysteria, anomalies that disrupt the city’s fabric. Players assume the role of a Navigator, endowed with the unique Kaleido Vision, enabling them to perceive and combat these disturbances alongside the enigmatic Kaleido Riders—supernatural girls equipped with advanced weaponry and motorcycles.
The game features a diverse cast of Rider girls, including Prome, Nana, UC, and Adodol, each with distinct backgrounds ranging from magicians to rock singers. Beyond combat, Chasing Kaleidorider emphasizes character relationships, allowing players to develop bonds with the Riders. These interactions can unlock new abilities and storylines, adding depth to the gameplay experience.
Visually, the game looks really nice, it combines anime-inspired aesthetics with dynamic action sequences. The official trailer showcases both CG animations and in-game footage, set to a theme song performed by renowned singer 96Neko.
