Grand Mountain Adventure 2, the sequel to the indie mobile hit Grand Mountain Adventure, will officially launch on iOS and Android on February 6, 2025. Developed by Swedish indie studio Toppluva AB, this open-world winter sports game promises an even bigger and more immersive experience for ski and snowboard enthusiasts. With over 20 million downloads of the original, the sequel is packed with new features, expanded resorts, and exciting gameplay modes.
Players can look forward to exploring five massive new ski resorts, each 2-4 times larger than the original. The game introduces a variety of new activities, including parachuting, ski jumping, speed skiing, and even ziplining, making it a true snow sports playground. For those seeking a more relaxed experience, Grand Mountain Adventure 2 offers a ‘Zen’ mode for peaceful exploration and an ‘Observe’ mode where players can watch AI-driven NPCs navigate the slopes.
Game Director Sebastian Sehr shared his passion for the project: “As snowboarders ourselves, we wanted to create a living, breathing ski resort experience. From the squeaky chair lifts to busy après-ski moments, we aimed to capture the magic of being on the slopes.”
