This new game, Heian City Story invites players to build and govern a city set during Japan’s Heian period, an era celebrated for its peace and cultural achievements. As the leader, you’ll not only oversee the growth of your city and the well-being of its inhabitants but also fend off malevolent spirits threatening to disrupt your serene domain.
In addition to managing the day-to-day affairs of your city, you can engage in various recreational activities. The game features four different types of tournaments: Kickball, Sumo, Poetry, and Horse Racing, each offering unique prizes and a chance to unwind from the rigors of governance. The game combines these management tasks with Kairosoft’s signature system, retro graphics, making for a visually appealing and nostalgic gaming experience.
