Kuroko’s Basketball Street Rivals – Over 2 million downloads in Japan

Kuroko’s Basketball Street Rivals (黒子のバスケ Street Rivals) has surpassed an impressive milestone of 2 million domestic users in Japan (that’s a lot), and developer Five Cross Co., Ltd. is marking the occasion with a celebratory campaign. Players can participate in a special 10-day login event, running until January 1, to earn up to 200 gacha tickets. These tickets can be exchanged for valuable items, including EX Player Gacha Tickets and unique in-game rewards like Warriors Ball Cases.

In addition to the milestone celebration, Kuroko’s Basketball SR introduces a new character, “Perfect Kise (SF),” to the roster. This versatile player, modeled after the anime’s “Generation of Miracles,” can replicate diverse techniques to dominate any match. Players can recruit Perfect Kise through a limited-time gacha event, which includes exclusive rewards like training cards, awakening cards, and the Warriors collaboration skin.

Why is this achievement important for Kuroko? Well, it’s one of those games that I hope will have a global release. The anime series Kuroko’s Basketball has been quite successful on Netflix and would surely get a good reception globally. For now, there’s no news, but if you’re interested, you can download it from the Japanese edition on the Google Play Store or the iOS App Store.
