BAFTA-nominated studio Other Tales is set to release Miniatures on iOS on November 14th. Miniatures is one of those interesting games that appear from time to time. It’s a game from an indie studio, sold more as an experience than a game itself.
The art of the game is amazing, beautiful, but at the same time somewhat gloomy and sad. But the game is very short. This ultra-short game clocks in at just 45 minutes and offers four separate stories told from a child’s perspective. Rather than action-packed thrills, Miniatures focuses on introspective, nostalgic experiences.
The game will be available on Steam, iOS (links to be published) and Nintendo Switch. The experience should be the same on all, I don’t know about the price. The Steam edition has a trial version if you want to see what the game is about and if it’s finally worth spending a bit.
