MU: Pocket Knights launches worldwide later this year

Mu: Pocket Knights is the news and latest mobile RPG from WEBZEN, set to launch globally—including Japan—in the second half of 2025, bringing a fresh twist to the long-running MU franchise. Developed by DAWNLIKE, the studio want to join an idle gameplay with the depth and longevity of MMORPG systems.

Unlike previous entries in the MU series, Mu: Pocket Knights introduces adorable, pocket-sized avatars in place of the original characters. Despite the visual shift, the game retains iconic elements such as the “Wings” system, which is prominently featured in the newly revealed logo. According to WEBZEN, this design choice reflects the game’s mission to preserve the essence of the MU universe while making it more accessible to a broader audience.

A hybrid experience, fast progression and ease-of-play. Sure it will have the content-rich structure and scalability of traditional MMORPGs. Players can expect a variety of features, including automated combat, character growth systems, and long-term content updates.

WEBZEN has confirmed that Mu: Pocket Knights will be free-to-play with optional in-app purchases. More details, including gameplay previews and pre-registration campaigns, will be announced in the coming months.
